In an industry where demand has seen a drastic increase in recent years, our emphasis on apprentice recruitment has become key in our business. Over the last 70 years, Munro Building Services have invested substantially in its apprentices, with some past participants in the scheme now holding a range of technical, managerial or even director positions within the company. Our commitment to our staff is at the forefront of our operation, and we take great pride in the fact that we have been able to promote our past apprentices into these roles. We are always on the lookout for additional talent, particularly young people that are looking to embark on their career in the building services industry and who are keen to learn all aspects of our specialist trade. We sponsor a wide range of high quality apprenticeships, not only within the building services discipline, but also in areas such as business administration and accounts.

Our training commitment doesn’t just end with college level apprenticeships, though. We offer apprenticeships to degree level, graduate and post-graduate qualifications, giving our staff the most suitable training for their chosen career path, as well as avenues into management roles within the business, and continued professional development.

We are also dedicated to celebrating the success of our current apprentices. One of our current cohort, Joe Smith, was recognised in 2022 as a triple award winner. He was presented with the BESA Group National Award for Heating & Ventilation L2 & L3 Apprentice of the Year 2022, Cambridge Regional College Construction & Trades Apprentice of the Year 2022 and Cambridge Regional College Overall Apprentice of the Year 2022. We are exceptionally proud of Joe for receiving these awards in recognition of his hard work, passion and dedication to his work and studies, and hope that this success will be repeated in future years.
