Project Update – Over 1 mile of cable basket installed above the ceilings, over half a mile of conduit drops in the walls for cables to reach the sockets and over 500 electrical sockets and switches installed, we are now underway on site and that’s just the electrical first fix!!

Cambridge’s latest Conference Centre at Thompson Lane is due to open in December 2016 and is well underway with Munro delivering the M&E installation, working with Balfour Beatty on the project.

Munro have successfully secured the M&E package and will be working closely with SDC to deliver this exciting new research building, code-named Project Gemma. This new building will provide the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with additional capacity and enhanced capability to translate fundamental biomedical re-search into clinical research that benefits patients.
